DESCRIPTION Descent by kayak down the rapids of the Noguera Pallaresa, only suitable for adventurers with previous experience.

The activity begins in front of the activity base. A stretch full of rapids with few moments for rest that allows us to experience the sensations of a true whitewater river.

Our guides will provide you with a thorough explanation of both the equipment (open kayak and paddle), and some initial concepts of turns, flips, rapids, and counter-currents. The open kayak is the easiest kayak with which we can navigate a whitewater river; we only need to worry about steering it. Its great stability will allow us to paddle while enjoying the incredible landscape that surrounds us.

The journey starts at the foot of the rapid "La Lavadora". The first 3 km are calm waters, which will allow us to practice on-site. From there, the rapids begin and do not give us respite until we reach the Gulleri bridge, where we can take a break if needed. The next four kilometers bring us rapids like "La Sirga" and a rapid called the "Salto del Ángel" that will test our skills.

The activity ends at the point we call "La Isla," since it is a place where the Noguera Pallaresa river bifurcates and creates a small island between the two arms of the river.

Once on the island, our transportation will be waiting to pick you up and take you back to the activity center where you can change, take a shower, and enjoy the terrace of our bar while watching the photos of your descent.

Who Can Participate in This Activity?

Anyone in good physical condition.
People who can swim.
Minimum age to participate in the activity: 16 years in spring and 12 in summer (depending on water levels).
Minimum age without companions: 15 years.

Included in the Price

Professional guides (languages: Catalan, Spanish, French, English).
Technical clothing (neoprene suit, windbreaker jacket, neoprene booties, life jacket, helmet, GoPro mount on the helmet, paddle).
Transport from the activity base to the starting point and from the arrival to the activity base.
Parking (exclusive use for customers).
Liability and accident insurance.
The user will pay for any damage caused to the equipment in case of damage.

CANCELLATIONS

Reservations for up to 5 people:

If you cancel more than 72 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 72 hours before the activity: 50% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 48 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you don't show up on the day of the activity: no refund will be available.

Reservations for 6 people or more:

Date changes are not allowed.
If you cancel less than 20 days before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the activity: 75% of the reservation price will be charged.

What happens if it snows, rains, or the weather is bad?

We conduct our activities regardless of the weather, such as rain or snow, except in extreme case.
If the provider cancels the activity due to safety conditions, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.

What if I or a companion falls ill on the day of the activity?

If you become ill on the day of the activity, you will need a medical certificate to justify the non-completion of the activity.
With the medical certificate, we can reschedule your activity or provide a refund.
If you are part of a group and fall ill, the refund only applies to you. If your companion is a minor, they will also be included in the refund.
The rest of the group can continue to enjoy the activity as planned.
