DESCRIPTION Discover the amazing self-guided MTB route from Beret to Montgarri to Esterri d'Àneu, 36 km of pure adventure!

With a 36 km downhill route, this MTB trail will take you through the stunning landscapes of Pla de Beret, a special place located at 1,878m where the Noguera Pallaresa River originates, flowing into the Mediterranean. From here, you will follow a wide forest track, descending for 36 km along the Noguera Pallaresa River, passing through lush fir forests and alpine meadows. This route is rich in history and crosses important cross-border passes.

At km 6, you will reach the Montgarri Sanctuary, a perfect place to take a short break and enjoy the surroundings. You will continue for another 17 km until you reach the Fornet refuge, where you can enjoy a meal or even have a picnic anywhere along the way. From the Fornet refuge, you will follow a small paved track that passes through beautiful villages of Alt Àneu for 13 km until you reach the village of Esterri d’Àneu.

The route starts in Beret at 10:30 am and lasts between 3 to 4 hours on the bike. It doesn’t require great effort since most of it is downhill. Suitable for all participants from approximately 8 years old. A taxi will pick you up in the village of Esterri at 3:00 pm to return to Pla de Beret.

A minimum of 4 people is required to guarantee the outing. Anyone in good physical condition and children from 8 years old can participate. Although most of the route is downhill, some skill and experience in mountain biking are required, as the route lasts between 3 to 4 hours.

CANCELLATIONS

Reservations for up to 5 people:

If you cancel more than 72 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 72 hours before the activity: 50% of the reservation price will be refunded.
If you cancel within 48 hours before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you don't show up on the day of the activity: no refund will be available.

Reservations for 6 people or more:

Date changes are not allowed.
If you cancel less than 20 days before the activity: 100% of the reservation price will be charged.
If you cancel less than 30 days before the activity: 75% of the reservation price will be charged.

What happens if it snows, rains, or the weather is bad?

We conduct our activities regardless of the weather, such as rain or snow, except in extreme case.
If the provider cancels the activity due to safety conditions, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.

What if I or a companion falls ill on the day of the activity?

If you become ill on the day of the activity, you will need a medical certificate to justify the non-completion of the activity.
With the medical certificate, we can reschedule your activity or provide a refund.
If you are part of a group and fall ill, the refund only applies to you. If your companion is a minor, they will also be included in the refund.
The rest of the group can continue to enjoy the activity as planned.
